Sahana Ramdas is an attorney at Costello, Cooney & Fearon. She began with the Firm in 2022.
Ms. Ramdas focuses her practice primarily in civil litigation and trial law, serving as counsel for private individuals, corporations and municipalities. Her work includes insurance coverage disputes and general defense of insureds.
Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Ramdas worked on civil and criminal law matters in India. Specifically, she served as Head Legal Associate for two nonprofit organizations where she supported their wildlife conservation objectives and animal welfare goals. Her responsibilities included assisting law enforcement agencies and public prosecutors in the enforcement of Animal Law and Wildlife Law provisions.
Ms. Ramdas has also worked for New York State’s Environmental Protection Bureau and served as a clerk for the Criminal Justice Program of the Animal Legal Defense Fund. She holds three Master of Laws degrees in the areas of general law, global environmental law and animal law.
