Alicia S. Calagiovanni

Of Counsel

Alicia S. Calagiovanni is Of Counsel at Costello, Cooney & Fearon. She began her tenure with the Firm in 1982.

As an Accredited Estate Planner, through the National Academy of Estate Planning Councils, Alicia focuses on the areas of trusts and estates – both planning and administration – as well as provides representation for elder law matters. Alicia is able to draft estate planning documents that minimize potential familial conflict. She effectively streamlines this often complicated administration work by using asset preservation techniques and focusing on simplifying the impact of potential long-term patient-care costs. Alicia also provides strategy and representation in drafting trusts and wills with advance directives, including powers of attorney, health care proxies, and living wills.

Prior to joining the Firm, Alicia served as a Confidential Law Clerk to the Hon. Richard N. Donovan, as well as an Estate Tax Attorney for the Internal Revenue Service. She also served as Public Administrator of Onondaga County from 2010 to 2019.
