On December 19, 2025, the Avoiding Vexatious Overuse of Impleading to Delay (AVOID) Act (as used in this article, the “Act”) was signed into law. At bottom, the Act limits the timeframes in which third-party actions may be commenced, allegedly to minimize delays resulting from non-meritorious impleader.
