Ms. Young is an Associate Attorney in the Litigation practice at Costello, Cooney & Fearon. She is admitted to practice in both New York and North Carolina and joined the Firm as a litigation associate with a focus on complex trial work.

Cayley is a seasoned trial attorney with experience in both prosecution and defense. Prior to joining the Firm, she served as a criminal prosecutor, handling both felony and misdemeanor-level offenses. At Costello, Cooney & Fearon, her practice is primarily focused on the defense of medical and legal professionals, as well as representation of insurance carriers in malpractice and liability matters. She also provides counsel in municipal law and cannabis enforcement matters, representing municipalities in enforcement proceedings and regulatory compliance. Her litigation work spans all stages of trial preparation and courtroom proceedings, and she brings a detail-oriented, strategic mindset to every case.

In addition to her practice, Cayley serves as an adjunct professor at Syracuse University, where she teaches First Amendment Law. She is also a peer-reviewed author in the field of communications research, with work published in multiple international academic journals.

Cayley holds a Bachelor’s degree, a Juris Doctor, and a Master of Science in Public Relations, all from Syracuse University. She is a graduate of Syracuse University College of Law and the Newhouse School of Public Communications.
